1955 AUSTIN HEALEY 100 BN-1

A stunning Spruce Green 1955 Austin Healey 100 BN1 with black leather interior.  A full restoration was completed in 2014, and it looks as beautiful as the day I drove it out of the garage. This car won Best in Class at San Diego British Car Day in 2015, 2017, and 2019.

The odometer currently reads 44,363 miles and I have only driven it 2,586 miles since the restoration.  This car has been in the family for 31 years and I have an additional 10 years previous history, when the odometer reading was 37,167 miles.

The car has the more desirable 4-speed BN-2 transmission with overdrive, which may have been factory installed.  According to the Original Austin-Healey book by Clausager, there were up to 15 pre-production BN-2 cars made, beginning with car number 227489 (or lower).  My car’s number is 227501.  This car also has BN-2 front fenders, brakes, and bearings which lends further credence to the possibility.  According to the book, the BN-2 went into production in August, 1955, the same month of this car’s “Date of Build” according to its British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certified Copy of Factory Record.

During the restoration, expenses were not spared to increase this car’s long term reliability, including an aluminum gas tank, stainless steel exhaust, stainless steel brake piping, a more efficient 5-blade metal cooling fan, and a Dennis Welch head gasket.  The car does have aftermarket chrome wire wheels and aluminum valve cover.  Included with the sale is a collection of removed factory parts consisting of the valve cover, four-blade fan, steering wheel, and more.  All invoices from the restoration are also available.

This Austin Healey is a beauty to look at, a thrill to drive, and a classic to cherish.  A collector’s car meant to be driven.

1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer

This is an immaculate Grand Wagoneer, original interior, including floor mats. This is one of the cleanest you will find, with 142,000 miles (motor replaced at 122,000) and a new transmission (with transferable warranty) replaced 10 months ago. This is the original color but has been repainted recently, and the wood on the sides are in great condition. All receipts available since 2008. This truck has been WELL taken care of. If it weren’t for space I would keep it forever! Everything is operational. I just spent a small fortune getting the rear tailgate glass and switch replaced and functioning. Apparently that is a very common issue with Wagoneer’s. All the driveline works and has been serviced and is very solid. The truck has been smogged and passed on the first try.
